RV parking is at the front of our detached garage near the road. Please note that the main road in front of our house is busy at all hours of the day (60 km/h zone). Please consider this from a noise perspective. There is a 10% uphill slope for the first 15m of the gravel driveway. The parking spot for the trailer and tow vehicle is near the street in front of the detached garage about 30m from the road. You're welcome to hookup to our well water. However, please be advised that it has a slight sulphurous odour. Suggested Local Attractions:Access to highway 174 is a 2-minute drive. Downtown Ottawa is only 25 minutes away. About a 6-minute drive to the grocery store.

Quiet couple recently retired Details: We've been living in Orléans Ontario (Ottawa suburb) long enough that the city has grown around our property. We have a 25 feet travel trailer and started travelling within a few hundred kilometers in the last two years. Now that we have both recently retired, we plan to travel throughout the whole country in the next decade. Nos enfants sont tous adultes dont deux des cinq sont à la maison en train de terminer leurs études. La retraite nous garde occupés comme on en aurait jamais soupçonné! Au plaisir de vous rencontrer. Skills or Expertise to Share: Normand previously worked as an electrical engineer and fire investigator (forensic engineer). His recent passion is in investments and financial analysis. Monique's work experience is in management of library branches. She also enjoys reading and uncovering ancestors (genealogy).

Normand and Monique are very interesting people with a lifetime full of captivating stories. They had great communication before the stay, and popped in to said hello the morning after we stayed and walked us through their beautiful property. Great location and great hosts! Thanks again guys 😊

Two nights gave us a chance to relax on this beautiful property. Yes, the parking spot was close enough to the road to hear traffic but secluded enough to enjoy the area. The road noise was easily tuned out and quieted for sleeping. Though we did walk to a coffee shop and music store, it was too hot to walk to the nearby parks. We enjoyed swapping travel stories with our hosts.

Normand and Monique were very gracious and helpful hosts. They are unassuming but very generous souls when you talk to them. The property was way more then we expected
