My stay with at Chicken's Roost brought me joy from the minute I pulled into the driveway. Sandy was waiting for me with a big smile and Tony soon joined her with an electical cord in his hand. Parking for my class B was ridiculously simple - nearly straight in with easy backing back out - on level grass under a beautiful big tree. The only sounds i heard all night were the birds in the morning. I've traveled a bit and can truthfully say I've never stayed in a more welcoming place. Not just my hosts but their neighbors too. Every single person I saw, whether it was while out for my walks with Rosie-dog or in the van, smiled and waived. I not only felt safe but cherished. How special is that? I have already made plans to go back in a few months and hope Sandy & Tony will make good on their plans to visit us in the Northwoods. I highly recommend Chicken's Roost! The area is lovely and so are the people.

Tony and Sandy have a beautiful place to park, and are so hospitable! Its close to freeway access, Alpine Valley, and just a short drive to town. My dog Chloe and I loved the quiet and safety of the streets to walk, and it truly was a great experience. My sisters live close and we'll look foward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Chicken's Roost. A serene and beautiful place, we enjoyed watching the deer, bunnies, birds and chipmunks. Our hosts couldn't have neen more welcoming, giving us tips for where to visit (all on point!) and even bringing us veggies. This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome, and we are hooked! Thanks Tony and Sandy!

Sandy and Tony were unbelievably warm and welcoming. Sandy brought us fresh veggies from her garden and Tony made sure we were all set with electric and water if we needed. Super great location for our needs and the neighborhood is very quiet and laid back. We will definitely try to get back to Chicken's Roost whenever we are in the area. Thank you 2 for a peaceful and friendly visit!
