Claude was excellent at letting us know when we could arrive if we were delayed, which we weren't. He greeted us upon arrival and showed us where to park. It was obvious where the ground was good for our trailer and clearly distinct from the farm land surrounding it. we had a perfect private spot. The sounds and scents from the working farm nearby we not unpleasant. we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Upon arrival we where not directed or helped. The host just said "just go around there in front of the barn and park in front of the house..." and he went inside his house, leaving us to trust that the road he was sending us on was good and strong. Well, it was not!! As we turned the curb our 45' 5th wheel just sank in soft clay and was about to tip over. We where stuck! The nose of our rig was less then 1/2 inch from the truck left fender. We broke a 1000$ hydraulic jack, damaged our suspension and have major damage to your rear fibreglass cap! After 3 hours of trying to get out the host finally offered his tractor...after stating that I would have to call a tow truck. Finally, with the help of his tractor, we where out in 10 minutes. Why didn't he offer us that help in the beginning?? We didn't know he had a tractor! We where not happy!! So this is how we began our month long trip to the maritime provinces. And oh...once parked he never offered his 15A electrical outlet that was on the wall of his house. He just said..."you can use your generator...". In conclusion, if you have a big rig (more than 20 feet), don't go there. And if you really still want to go there, DO NOT trust what the host tells you...do a thorough inspection of where the host tells you to park.

Location is very convenient for access. Claude greeted us & help with water & power. He gave us sightseeing ideas. Then he went above and beyond! He helped us repair a broken window, to allow us to continue on our travels! Many thanks Claude!

Claude is a really great host. We had great conversation with him and his girfriend. We got lots of tips and tricks for snowbirding in US south west. The camp spot is great, nice view on surrounding fields. Merci Claude pour vos bon conseils et votre accueil. Conversations très enrichissantes aussi avec votre sympatique amie.
