The first thing I will say is what a wonderful couple Scott and Connie are. We texted Scott about 20 minutes before our arrival time as instructed, and he was waiting for us as we pulled in and showed us exactly where to park. Nice level spot. Very easy in and out. There was a 50 amp plug available, which we used. Ended up staying two nights and gave them a donation for the electricity. We went to visit Mount Airy (Mayberry), where Andy Griffith grew up. We will definitely be back there again on our next trip through.

A peaceful, level, beautiful spot! Our hosts welcomed us, let us fill our water tank as there is no water at the campground and then showed us where to park. We had 30amp and sewage hookups. Thank you that we could extend our stay to 5 days. We watched the partial solar eclipse together from our site. Such a great experience. We enjoyed exploring this beautiful area from this well situated, quiet spot. Thank you for having us.
