No electric available no separate tow vehicle parking no pets no children under 12 yrs Local town (Mathews) very Mayberry RFD, local sandy beach (Godfrey bay), or Cow point beach via water. Williamsburg 45 mins. Yorktown 30 mins, Norfolk 1hr 15mins. Richmond 1hr 15 mins. Suggested Local Attractions:Very boaty area 15 mins. away from Deltaville, the sailing capitol of Virginia.

No Electric Available Gen sets ok if quiet, no running after 10pm No children under age 12 due to water safety issues. Keep kids under control. No Pets Depart time 11am.

Access Road Conditions: This is a back in situation. If you can't back your rig up this is not a fit for you. We are at the end of a circular cu de sac. Your parking space is basically is a driveway off to the side of our home . It will involve backing between 2 trees 12 ' apart into your parking spot. It's a straight shot in. No overhanging tree issues. Vans under 25' can pull straight in.

Life time boat owners (USCG licensed). Retired 10yrs cop, 5 yrs nurse, 20 yrs self employed. Wifey retired graphic designer. Home Town: Land base : Hallieford , Mathews Virginia. ( great place on the Chesapeake bay) or floating on our boat somewhere. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Mountain locations, anywhere but campsites. Skills or Expertise to Share: Generally handy, mechanically inclined, licensed captain boat savvy power or sail. Expert wallpaper hanger (self employed 20 yrs) wifey 30 yr creative advertising background, graphic designer Mac savy.

Carl was and is a wonderful host. Had a nice campfire then 30 degrees in the morning, with frost on the dock.... stayed an extra night and went canoeing the next morning. As I was getting ready to leave he told me of his most beautiful drive in Virginia. Gwynn Island. .... Don't miss it!
