Recently retired spending 5 months a year on the road Details: We've recently retired and downsized to our small country home in Codell, Kansas so we can spend 5 months a year on the road meeting new friends and visiting family. Home Town: Born and raised in Salina, KS. Spent 10 years in Bartlesville, OK, 2 years in Canton, OH, 3 years in South Bend, IN, and then back to Salina, KS for 30 years. Last year we sold our Salina home and downsized to a small community in western Kansas by the name of Codell, KS. We did this so we can enjoy traveling 5 months out of the year in our RV.

Cozy Dell was a perfect stop on our trip. The host and hostess were amazing, communicated promptly with help getting in and parked, and very pleasant. It was so quiet on the property that we had the best sleep in weeks! We highly recommend this spot if you need a day or two of quiet in your travels.

As an rv newbie I couldn't have asked for more for my first Harvest Host stay! Traveling from Fargo ND to Mesa AZ on my first trip I wasn't sure how to plan for stays or how far I could go in a day. I made my request last minute and Mike was very gracious in accommodating me. Mike met me upon arrival and helped me get parked and set up. Very convenient location. I work remotely and he allowed me to stay through the end of my workday. The town has an interesting history as noted in Ripley's Believe it or Not - just google Cyclone Day. Very peaceful stay and I will definitely stop again to see them again!

We contacted Mike in a bit of a last minute as our travel plans for the day changed. He quickly approved our request and was outside to greet us as we pulled in. The parking area was grass with electric and water available. Mike and his wife Terry were very friendly and as we were chatting we realized that we all play music, so, out come the instruments and we had a delightful time trading songs. If we are in the neighborhood again, we will be sure to look them up.

It's a little town with a big heart! don't expect to find anything like groceries or gas, that's about 7 miles to the West. Mike, the owner, treated us like family. We had good hookups, wish the wife could've stayed a little longer and was offered, but we had to go. YES! Definitely stay there again. thanks again, Mike.
