As a recently retired couple we have enjoyed traveling coast to coast in our RV and on our motorcycle. We have one tuxedo cat that travels with us. When home we enjoy entertaining family and friends on our property. Since the North Country Trail is close we like to take nature walks or relax by the campfire.

This stay was a tremendous blessing in our trip; quiet and serene. David and Kathy are wonderful hosts who were warm, welcoming and hospitable. We could only stay one night but would definitely return again for a longer stay to enjoy their property and the river.

Hosts were amazing - recognized our need for some “down” time after a few crazy days with truck trouble and invited is to enjoy their beautiful property. We walked down to the river where we watched the water flow, listened to birds - and tried to identify them with the (free!) Merlin app - and then made a nice low-key dinner and slept like babies with only 1-2 very short trains after 8, but before 10ish. We woke to multiple birds feeding at the feeder right outside our windows 🥰. Wish every stay could be like this!

Dave was very helpful in getting us comfortable on their beautiful park like property. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable. nice level parking, very peaceful and greeted by 16 turkeys wandering the property when we awoke.😀
