This campground location provides a large concrete pad, water and electricity and solitude. Located near several lakes, small town 5 miles away for groceries. We have both 30 and 50 Amp hookups. When traveling from the west to our location please note: If your GPS wants you to exit south at Grinnell, Iowa on hwy146, don't exit here. Continue in I -80 east to the Montezuma/ Malcolm exit, exit 191, South on hwy 63 to 480th St, then head west. These roads are all paved until you reach Entrance #9 at the lake. Turn left at entrance #9 for 1/2 mile on hard packed gravel to the host site. The number provide below 641-751-0574 is Dave's number. Please call him when you get close so he can meet you at the site. Our home and ice and bait shop is just down the road. Safe travels:) Thank you.

Dave and I enjoy camping and have tent camped as well as camped in RVs over the years. Now retired, we are on an adventure to see places in the US we have not visited. As well as we would like to give back to fellow RVers by hosting a boondockers campsite.

Even arriving in front of a strong storm, Dave and Lisa offered us unhurried help as we settled in. Offered to pick us up if the siren went off, too! Beautiful surroundings, which we could've enjoyed had it not been for the storm. We highly recommend this campground!

Loved this BW location. Concrete parking area with water and electric. Dave and Lisa were the perfect hosts. We recommend this host location to all BW members.

Very quiet and restful stay at D & L. Dave greeted us and made sure we were situated ok and made sure we didn’t need anything. Water and electric were readily available. Definitely will ask to return.

About 1/2 mile off the road, easy to find. Parking on a level cement pad with electric if needed. We spent a quiet night and only saw the horses and deer. Would highly recommend!
