Welcome to Dog and Pony Show Farm. Your hosts are Brett and Tom. This is the childhood home and family farm of Brett. From about 1927 to 2000, this was a working dairy farm. Brett's sister and sister-in-law live just down the road on the second farm. We now have 20 or more Draft Ponies on the farm. When Tom retired in 2017, he and Brett moved back to the farm and built a home. We are an 80 acre farm located 5 miles north of Utica, OH and 10 miles south of Mt. Vernon, OH. We have draft ponies which we show at various fairs in the area in the summer. We have RV parking in the driveway of our 60' by 40' pole barn. The driveway is approximately 40' by 80' so we can handle most any rig and parking for tow vehicle. The driveway is gravel with a downward slope. We have extra blocks if you need them. Water and 50 amp electric available. Fire ring overlooking creek and horse pasture, firewood provided by your hosts. Come and stay on the farm with us. Suggested Local Attractions:Ye Olde Mill (Velvet Ice Cream), Ariel Foundation Park, Kokosing Gap Bicycle Trail, Heart of Ohio BIcycle Trail

Prior to arrival the host sent us an Ariel photo of the property with where to park clearly marked as well as where the water and electric hook ups were located. Very helpful. Upon arrival we were given a booklet of information on the local area … activities, restaurants etc. This was a beautiful country location which was great for us because we have relatives in the area. Thank you for hosting us! We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We arrived extremely late at night, coming directly from cedar point, everything was clearly spelled out in the directions. We were allowed to plug in and use water! Thanks so much for the accommodations and the ponies are beautiful! Appreciate the hospitality!

Brett was very helpful when I wasn't able to identify the property on Google Earth, sending me an aerial view of his own. After that, I had no trouble finding the property. They were very welcoming. Water is available, but since B. said it had a lot of iron in it, I did not hook up. The ambiance is serene, with a 1900 barn down the road to one side and a country church to the other side. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.
