Our location is at the rear of the Dominion Hotel Pub parking lot. It is protected by a storage container on one side. The area has large trees and backs onto a lawn area overlooking the Gull River. This is right beside the municipal boat ramp and dock. Bring your canoe! Fishing and swimming steps away. Minden is a quaint community with shopping, a weekend farmer's market, historic sites and more. In town we have the largest accessible trail system in Central Ontario, around the river (The Riverwalk) and connecting Boardwalk through a natural area. The Dominion Hotel Pub is considered to be the centre for live entertainment in the county with live music throughout the year. Try one of the Dominion's house brand beers, their 1865 Lager, the popular Red Truck Red Ale or the D-Light light beer. These brands are the favoured of visitors and residents. Location
Access Road Conditions: We are right off a municipal road, very easy to get to. Our lot is large enough that most rigs can easily swing around in it. Usually we will park RVs at the rear of our property beside our storage containers. We recommend backing into the parking spot to give the best privacy. And be sure to leave enough room to open your awning for a private and protected (by the container) lounging area. There is lots of space to get into the parking spot BUT as this is a commercial parking lot that can get busy at lunch and dinner arrival during meals should be avoided. Our lot is packed gravel. A seasoned RVer who loves to meet people and share experience. Details: Some of our best memories raising our family were on trips with our RV. It gave us the opportunity to explore areas we would never go to and to connect with each other. We can probably count on our hand the number of times we stayed in an RV park. Not that that wasn't nice but we preferred to dry camp. It was great to teach our children the 'power' of independence and self sufficiency. Now we operate an historic inn in a quaint and lovely town with a river running through it. Home Town: Minden, Ontario Skills or Expertise to Share: Terrific at offering advice.

Our stay went very well. We were welcomed and given info on the area. Had dinner in the restaurant and walked along the River Walk afterward. There was a band playing, but they wrapped up at 10 pm and so we had a quiet night. Thank you.

Elli and Shawn are busy in the scenes of the hotel and pub but all about customer service. They made the time to visit and ensure all was in order for me. Private parking was set prior to arrival. Stationed right beside the river and close to all needs within the town. Wing night Wednesday at the pub! Good energy

We had an awsome stay at the Gull, we were warmly welcomed and helped to park our rig. We had a great meal at the pub and enjoyed a great nights sleep. I recomend a stay here!

Host is a nice guy. If you order a hotdog in their restaurant you better be hungry because it is big.

The restaurant has amazing food, reasonable prices, and the largest covid-safe screened-in patio we've ever seen! No wonder they are so popular but first-come seating meant we didn't need a reservation. Yay! After dinner we pulled our lawn chairs out to sit by the river. The hosts are so nice. They were doing an off-site catering when we arrived but took time to visit with us in the morning although they had a busy day ahead with a wedding booked. Don't miss this stop for the great food and drinks and the summer lineup of live entertainment!
