Our location is best for just sleeping & eating. It's not well suited for hanging out or basking in the sun. The town has excellent tourist amenities in the Platzl and the parks & forests. See https://tourismkimberley.com for ideas. We are happy to offer boondockers a trusted & save home base, with 15A electric hookup if needed. Since we're the only boondockers in a popular tourist city, we get many requests. As such, please use our location for your home base then go to the Platzl or check https://tourismkimberley.com for things to do. We live on a family-centric crescent. It's mostly quiet, except for 7:30 am when the kids get on the bus. It's a friendly neighbourhood with kids playing on the street in the afternoon. You may get a few keen looky-loos who want to learn a bit about your rig.

Location
Class B and C RVs, and tow vehicles, can park in our parking spot of the townhouse complex. This is shown on the image as Option #2. Large RVs can park on the gravel shoulder of the road, there's lots of room for the RV to pull all the way off of the road and then still have room to pop out the sides. When entering the crescent from the south side (coming from Marysville), you'll be on the correct side of the street to park on the right. The parking location has an uphill 4-5% grade. If you really want a level camper, you'll need to break out your leveling blocks. The gravel roadside is about 10-12 feet wide and is rockered to facilitate storm runoff. Watch the corners of your Class A rig as you enter & exit. When possible, I'll have orange cones on the street to block off a parking location for you.

We're an active couple with 1 dog and some occasional kids. We are traveling a loop of the US northwest. Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, & Montana. We're new to RV-ing and loving it so far. We'd like to use some boondocker sites along our way to get a little bit off the main roads. Nevy

We were able to park in the parking lot at the side of the hosts house and had no issues. We briefly met the host who was able to settle us in with electric hookup.

it was difficult to know exactly where to park given all the snow but we were in a van so just parked in the parking lot of the complex which worked great but if we were in a larger rig I don't think we would have been able to find a spot that worked

Wonderful hosts in an easy to find location. we had no trouble parking our 21ft travel trailer and it was mostly level without having to unhitch. The folks hosting this stop are absolutely wonderful !!

This site works for a quick, 1 night stay. It may be difficult for larger rigs depending on the time of day and which day of the week you arrive or depart. Because you park on the street, there doesn't seem to be any control over other vehicles parking in close proximity. We were fortunate to leave Monday morning when most of the vehicles left for work and we could get out. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming!
