This gravel parking area near our barn is suitable for most rigs. It's five acres in the country, 4 miles from Bluffton, 8 miles to Quabache State Park, 18 miles to Roush Lake (Huntington), and 15 miles from the south side of Fort Wayne. A quarter mile to the north is Rose Rd (aka River Road), a nice place to walk by the Wabash River. A one-mile drive north on SR116 is Acres Along the Wabash, which has some walking trails in the woods. Bluffton's Pizza Hut will deliver, and some of the local favorite restaurants are listed below. We offer a simple, quiet site best suited for travelers looking for an accessible overnight location. We don't have a firepit setup yet, but if you have a portable one, feel free to use it. We have good cell phone signals for most carriers and can provide guests access to our WIFI. Short notice and late arrivals are welcome. Feel free to top up the fresh water tank at the hydrant. Local Restaurants Pizza Hut (Delivery Available) Tyger's Pizza Parlour (our local favorite) Parlor City Brewing Company (really creative bar food and excellent beer) El Camino Real (Mexican) Coco China Buffet (one of the best buffets in the region) Yergy's State Road BBQ (It's BBQ. Need I say more?)

My wife and I have a Bushwacker Plus and enjoy traveling around the Midwest. Our most memorable sites are completely off-grid and remote. Sitting around a campfire at the state park is relaxing, but we're most at home on the road, seeking adventure and finding a new site every night.

Very nice couple 4 miles NW of Bluffton who let us park in their large circle drive the night before the eclipse. Quick to respond to our request, great hospitality offering us electricity and bottled water (we were set for both with our own supply) as well as being flexible with our stay. Driveway has circle near the home for easy ingress and egress. Highly recommend!
