Location
Access Road Conditions: Conveniently located 3 miles off of WV route 33/48 and 18 miles from exit 99 on Interstate 79. All roads are paved and maintained by the state. If using Interstate 79, use Exit 99. If using GPS and coming from the North, do not take Exit 115 for Rt 20 South. This is a very winding, 2 lane road. On our road, there is a railroad underpass with an overall height of 13’4”. It looks low but we take our class A motorhome under with room to spare. Proceed very slowly and watch for others, there are 2 sharp turns and then a very short single lane bridge. All WV interstate rest areas have free dump stations. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Gravel driveway for tow vehicle parking.

This was a beautiful spot in a quiet area. Brad was very friendly and helpful getting me backed in and set up. We traded a few IPAs as well. Highly recommended!

These hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. They were there to meet us and show us where to enter, and offered us electric. They offered to top off our water before we left. Brad also was willing to look at our GPS route over the mountains to give us some feedback on the safest way to go. they are happy to help at every step but also respectful of allowing people to just have their own private space.

Nice grassy open space to walk dogs, pretty level, electric close by (and kindly offered sans charge). These are great hosts and a spot not to be missed in West Virginia! Hope to be back.

We were much later than planned and Brad met us with a great smile and a hand shack to help set us up. Beautiful location. This was our first boondocker and we were hoping to spend time and chat with the hosts, lesson learned, we cut our travel days much shorter. Thanks Brad. Hope to see you again.
