Location
Access Road Conditions: Conveniently located 3 miles off of WV route 33/48 and 18 miles from exit 99 on Interstate 79. All roads are paved and maintained by the state. If using Interstate 79, use Exit 99. If using GPS and coming from the North, do not take Exit 115 for Rt 20 South. This is a very winding, 2 lane road. On our road, there is a railroad underpass with an overall height of 13’4”. It looks low but we take our class A motorhome under with room to spare. Proceed very slowly and watch for others, there are 2 sharp turns and then a very short single lane bridge. All WV interstate rest areas have free dump stations. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Gravel driveway for tow vehicle parking.

We enjoyed our stay at Eichers Acres very much. Directions were great, parking was easy, and our host, Brad, was very accommodating. We loved seeing the deer playing in the field. We would highly recommend this stay.

Brad and Christi were the perfect hosts. Brad met us as we pulled in and helped guide us as we backed down to a level spot in their gravel barn access drive. They shared lots of suggestions for local places to visit, offered power and water and apples from their trees. We unhooked to hike the nearby Alum Creek and Cave Trail and stopped by the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum on our way out of town thanks to Brad's recommendation. They were a joy to talk with and it was a great first Boondockers Welcome stay for us - we felt very welcome indeed!

Brad and Christi were wonderful hosts. The property was so beautiful and peaceful. We had a good night's sleep before heading home the next day. The hook up was greatly appreciated.

We were fortunate to be able to stay and Christi and Brad's for three days while I hunted down a part for my tow vehicle and did the repair in their driveway. Their property is beautiful and peaceful and they were incredibly kind. We even got to see a few baby fawns in the mornings. All around great stay.

We had a great time. Drove on to the drive way and were met by the owners. Gave us an extention cord and let us plug in, no charge. Was just a quiet place to spend the night.
