House Rules

If dry, any length vehicles/RV can park on vacant lot past house. If rainy, up to 22' vans / truck campers only, no trailers or Class C parks in driveway, but no awnings that I can hit my head on; hitch / bike rack may need to be removed or raised to prevent damaging driveway or road. This is not an RV park: No sewer connection, no dumping, no laundry, just a place to stay and go to a public dump / laundry facility after. Supervise pets and keep away from canal (gators ambush). Please do not feed my dog or wildlife. No smoking unless in your rig with filter (reeks long distance); no illegal activities/drugs, etc. No vehicles with big oil/fluid leaks. Loud music/TV OK if commercial free. Please minimize unsightly personal property outside of your rig (laundry, etc.), but chairs, grill, etc. are fine. No dumping any black or grey water (you must have holding tank). Dumping is a frequent violation and attracts unwanted raccoons, etc. Fill your freshwater tank and turn water off, do not leave on since leaks waste a lot (my filter is pricey). Details about rules and other important info: http://www.econeato.org/host.html

Location

Until a new driveway is installed on vacant side lot, you would park on the side of the house on grass. Any size RV may fit there, but low clearance class A motorhomes and Fifth wheel RVs will be very challenging to get in and out. If there is heavy rain, there could be problems with traction. You must provide your own levels, I no longer loan levels.

Awesome host and very comfortable stay at Eric’s pad. He was very accommodating offering great conversation, electrics/water hook-up, and my dog was even able to make some new friends :) Thanks for being a breath of fresh air after navigating Miami and Naples. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!

We had a fabulous time at and with Eric and his dog Tidy. Very organized hook up, water and wifi. We had access to the canal bank and even took our kayak out. Eric was very kind and informative.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The place is in a quiet neighborhood. With a small van like us, getting up on the steep driveway was easy, but be sure to contact the host in advance. We had a wonderful stay and the host did welcome us with self-made chocolate milkshakes. He was very friendly and has a cute little doggy. We helped him installing a laminate floor. We felt like we made a new friend and will certainly stay in touch and come back!

We had a great three day stay. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, easy to access. And right things to do in the area. Our host was very friendly, and very accommodating.
