Long level gravel lot at my sons home in a secluded neighborhood under the trees and next to a creek. Better than many campgrounds we've stayed at. Can easily accommodate a 45' or longer coach, trailer, or 5th wheel. However, requires being able to back in the entire 150' driveway. We park our 45' motorcoach over the holidays every year. And there is room to spare for slides on both sides and a tow vehicle. Quiet safe friendly neighborhood, great for walking, biking, and running. At the end of the cul-de-sac begins a trail that provides miles of walking and mountain biking possibilities.

Location

The gravel parking area is located next to the wide driveway. If you have a larger rig (larger than 30 feet or so), in order to park, you must able to back in from the street and down the gravel driveway to the parking area as there is not enough room to turn around.

Great place to relax and rest. Really enjoyed chatting with Eric. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in North Carolina.

Eric was so welcoming and flexible with our arrival time. The property was perfect! and the exact rest that we needed. It is very quiet and peaceful with nice neighbors and the perfect trail to walk your pup right across the street. Highly recommend and would def stay again!!

Great communication with host. Lovely spot in a neighborhood but up against the woods. Lots of room for our 35' 5th wheel with 50amp and water available. You do have to back down about 150' winding driveway. The driveway way plenty wide to do this but we did turn around in the culdesac to get facing the other way first. Not that bad really. Spot was gravel and fairly level.

We are wandering north in the cold months for a change. This stop was a new fave for us. The spot is level and easy for our 29' TT and truck to get into. There is 50 amp power and water available for a nominal fee. We felt as if we had a lot in common with our hosts. They certainly made us feel welcome by answering our questions and making recommendations in the area. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's walkable for those staying healthy. We took some time in downtown Charlotte - Free Admission on Wednesday nights to the Mint Museum. Less than 45 min drive in traffic. Our hosts recommended Purser-Hulsey Park in Matthews for some trail hiking and we were not disappointed. Downtown Monroe has a couple of breweries and cool shops. There's a Camping World RV dump not far away in Concord, NC.There is really so much to do in the area. We hope to be back again! Thank you for your hospitality, Fox Hunt!
