Iowa Country Living Details: Mike and I have been RVer off and on for many years. We had to sell our toyhauler and Harley Trike last year because of health problems. But, we still enjoying hosting and hearing about your boondocking/camping experiences. We did buy a Econoline with the thoughts of traveling, making short overnight stops alternating with hotel stops. Time will tell. Home Town: Newton Iowa Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have camped in several western states but have not boondock. We hope to start boondocking when we are more comfortable and/or we can hook up with some fellow boondockers. Our favorite state is Utah where we ride the trails with our S x S. Skills or Expertise to Share: Mike has a woodwork shop. And was a Mechanic. Might say he is a Jack of all trades...smile

It was super easy to communicate with Linda. She warned us prior to arrival that she couldn’t be there during our stay but she made it clear that we were more than welcome to come. Electricity and water were both available. Very relaxing place with big fields around.

Had a wonderful time at this stay. Host was excellent. We visited with them and even had homemade ice cream and birthday cake. We also met a great couple that was staying there also. Highly recommend this for a stop over if you are in the area.

Linda & Mike are the most hospitable hosts and a delight to spend time with. Their hideaway property is so close to Iowa Speedway for anyone wanting to stay close to the track. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. we spent 2 nights and even celebrated Linda's birthday with her & her family. Hopefully we will meet up later in the year somewhere in the New England states.

What a wonderful couple Mike and Linda are! It only took a few hours to realize they would become life long friends! They are just that! If you are ever in their area and you don't stop by, it's your loss! Thank you so very much for everything! AnK

What an amazing place and people. This was our first experience using Harvest Host and it couldn’t have been any better. Linda and Mike were a joy to visit with. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stop by again.
