Semi rural. 1 acre. Older home with addition made of straw bale and cob. With a garden on roof. Patio in the back would be available for use. Suggested Local Attractions: Nanaimo River for swims and hiking. WildPlay and biking trails close by.

No smoking on property, Not even in your vehicle. Pets must be under control as the chickens next door have a very careful owner :)

Access Road Conditions: There are low-hanging trees which we can cut to higher than the hight of your vehicle :) Wires above hang 11 feet from ground. There are two right angle turns in the drive through which a drivable vehicle of no more than 22 ft. would be able to easily navigate. See photos.

Gary and Ruth are lovely hosts. Easy parking for a 22 ft van with circular driveway. close to ferry and Nanaimo. Ask to see their strawberry patch. This is our second stay.

we enjoyed our stay. Ruth and Gary are very kind and welcoming. Nanaimo is a love place to visit. we especially liked Collier Dam Provincial park. will come back again. Thank you, Ruth.

Ruth had great communication before, during and after our stay. We got many suggestions for things to do and see. We had lovely chat in the garden With Ruth , her hubby and some if their friends! It was a very peaceful night, quiet and dark on a great pull through driveway.
