We loved our stay at Front Field. Hans was there to welcome us when we arrived, and generously offered the use of their river frontage, kayaks, and life vests. Their spot on the river is stunning! Our kiddos had a blast swimming and paddling around in the kayaks. We were tempted to ditch our plans and just hang out at the river all day. This was an incredible first experience with Boonodocker's Welcome, and we'd love to return. Thank you, Hans and Julie!

It was a pleasure meeting Julie and Hans, who were very accommodating and friendly. The open field where I parked had a distant view of mountains from a spot closer to the road and I took a beautiful walk down the street with the river on one side and farms and rolling hills on the other. They were kind enough to let me use their kayak and it took me a couple of leisurely hours to paddle around as far as I could in both directions. If you need very fast internet to work (like streaming multiple HD pages simultaneously), Verizon and T-Mobile hotspots were not that fast, but single streaming youtube and videos worked fine. We enjoyed a trip to the Saratoga Springs racetrack (tip-BYOB/cooler/picnic! and dress up or down as much as you like) and stumbled upon an authentic German restaurant: the Heidelberg Inn in Queensbury. Hope to be back again!

Hans and Julie are welcoming people and we really enjoyed visiting! The parking while across field from neighbors, felt private and and river access felt like 5* resort. Thank you!

Julie & Hans were sucha pleasure to meet, & their sweet furbaby Jonty was a bonus. They were so welcoming, their property is a hidden gem, it sits right on the Hudson River, offers a secluded feeling and encouraged us to use the firepit, kayaks, canoes & paddle boat. Theres also a tiny bridge which was great for morning meditation. I hope to visit again.
