I am a military brat and was raised all over the country. Gary has never lived more than 3 miles as the crow flies from his birthplace. We have been together since 2005. This farm once was home to 150 boer goats but now has only a handful of sheep and some chickens, guineas and dogs. I am the traveler, a carry-over from my youth I think. We don't travel with pets. All the animals are Gary's. I do the domestic stuff and take care of the flowers. I am retired but working part-time. He hasn't officially retired but only works 4 days a week. That's us in a nutshell. We look forward to meeting new people. Well, I look forward to it. Gary is very reserved.

This property is set back from the road and super quiet. We set up at the top of the meadow overlooking the pond which was perfect. Gary and Velda are wonderful hosts and very unassuming making us feel very relaxed and welcome from the onset. I think we will be heading back there soonβ¦ πππ

one of our favorite harvest host so far. The spot was on a pasture, levelled, easy to park and turn even with our big rig (30ft tt + 25ft truck). Both hosts were friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. It is quite peceful and we got to enjoy the view of the pond while having a fire. Thanks to both for everything !
