Retired fulltime rvers offering down-home hospitality Details: Wife is a retired teacher and husband is retired from National Defence. Bought 5 acres of maple grove, natural evergreen forest and open sloping field with a small stream 10 minutes from Kouchibouguac National Park gates. Looking forward to welcoming fellow RVers. We boondock on our own land, so you must be self-contained (water, power, sewer). Sorry. There are facilities nearby for water and sewer dump. We can offer parking for any size rv with plenty of shade or out in the open, whichever you prefer. Plenty of room for kids and pets to run and play. Please maintain control over your pets as we have 2 older cats and 2 friendly dogs who live there freely and off leash. If yours is/are friendly, trained and well-behaved, you are welcome to do the same. We plan to be there from April to October and travel about for the winter months (no fixed address). I had a pleasant stay. The host offered to help me park if needed. He even offered to give me an electrical cord and allow me to hook up. I did not need help at all however. I highly recommend this host. He was great to talk with.

A quiet spot near walking trail with easy access to the river where we enjoyed a stroll and a beautiful sunset. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.

We had to change plans on the fly based on Lee's track thru the area.... our hosts were very understanding as we pushed on to shelter in place in Moncton.... thx so much 😊

John and Donna were great hosts. Our van fit great on their driveway. John has a lot of knowledge about the area and was very interesting. Thank you for our stay.

We enjoyed ouR stay here. It is a short driveway on a little hill but easily fit our van and trailer we tow. John was very welcoming and moved his own vehicles around to give us a nice and flat spot. There more room on the grass but with all the rain we were timid to park there, but might have been ok. If it was dry weather we would have definately backed onto the grass. We were facing the walking / biking and ATV trail which gave great access to go for miles in eather direction. The yard was flat so minimal leveling after the 50 foot (or so) hill of a driveway. The river was right across from John's home with glimpses through the trees and a 2 min walk away. We strongly recommend visiting the Middle Island Irish Historic Park only about a km away. Miramichi city is also very close and perfect to have the bike trail! John offered electric which we didnt need over the 2 days and also wifi which didnt work out in our van. All in all, it was a great spot to stay and explore Miramichi.Â
