Location
Access Road Conditions: Located right on Missouri Hwy 32 between Lebanon and Buffalo, MO. About 10 miles off Interstate 44. Easy to find and easy to pull into as I built the drive to accommodate my heavy equipment semi truck so an RV should not have any issues. This spot does not offer any recreation , but just an unused parking area for a nights sleep to the traveler. There are no hookups. You can see photos by doing a google maps search for "Long Lane, Missouri. Then follow Hwy 32 east about 1/2 mile. You will see a building with sign "Howard Pump and Water Well". This is the spot. Any problems, just give us a call. Happy to provide the use of an unused driveway. Nothing nearby but cows and hay bales. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Plenty of space to park.

Owner/Operator small dairy farm in rural Missouri Details: Not much to say here. Just busy 7 days a week. Home Town: Live way out from town so don't really claim any town as home. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Sorry to say I have not as yet as my occupation does not allow at this time----but I am looking to the future! Skills or Expertise to Share: Self Sufficient would be a good way to put it.

We spent one night. About 10 miles off I44 but saw some beautiful country getting to spot. Just as advertised. Host was very welcoming and offered to be of any kind of assistance. We missed the drive going by as we were focused on the building, but we went down the road a bit and turned around. We were happy to have a spot to park for the night and was pleased to have found "A Good Place...".

We spent one night at the Howard family Boondockers Welcome site and we invited the Howards for a peek at 2 planets easily seen just after sunset. They are very nice people. And their site is just what we hope for in a boondocking site. It is easy to find, provided directions were great, and it is a large pull-through site (we did not need to disconnect our towed car). The place was quiet and we sat outside simply enjoying the peace and quiet well into the night. We recommend these fine folks even if you don’t visit the candy store at the nearby I-44 exit. There was more traffic than we expected based on the remote location. That was not a problem as there is not a hill, curve, or stop so it’s just vehicles passing by at a steady speed. The traffic diminished by bedtime. For us, it certainly lived up to the name, a “Good place to sleep a night.”
