Location
Trailers should back in, approaching the driveway from the north. If it hasn't rained in 3-4 days, pulling in forward is OK if approaching the driveway form the south. Turning around in a field that gently slops away from the driveway. It easy getting in and out of the property. Not much traffic on the road. ****Please note there is at least one tree south of us, on our road, that leans into the road, tractor trailers that hadn't moved over have hit it.

Greg and I have lived in the Pottstown area for 20+ years and have been BW hosts for a year. We bought an old 1816 stone house and built on a post and beam house to the original homestead. Greg milled the logs from our property on a saw mill he built. In the past we raised chickens, meat and egg birds. We have a shop and Greg is very handy, if you have a problem, he maybe able to help out. This is our first year with a van camper, which we're building ourselves. Previously we were boat people. We decided to trade the water for land. However, we do love watersports. We love to garden, we sew, Greg turns beautiful bowls, and our newest hobby is growing mushrooms. We welcome your pets, of course under control and not aggressive.

We really enjoyed this stay. Greg and Rosie welcomed us and provided us with lots of ideas on building out our van. Great hosts and we definitely will stay there again.

G&R Hobby farm is a great Boondock site! The hosts were the best! Communication with us prior to our arrival was terrific and second to none. Upon arrival they met us and were very helpful getting us parked and settled in. This is a very peaceful historic site tucked into the southeastern Pennsylvania countryside but not far from many nearby amenities. This is a highly recommended location and would definitely return here again. Thank you G&R for your wonderful hospitality!

What beautiful place, quiet and just what we needed. The entryway is not exactly easy but it’s doable considering i came in at dark and they came out to guide me in, which is appreciated. They had an electric hookup and were very kind people.
