Went to Sunday Christmas service with Hal at his church! We enjoyed morning coffee visits with him and walking our dog on the trail behind his property. The gravel area where he showed us to park was a very nice and level place to set up our motor home for the two nights we stayed.

This was a quiet spot to rest n relax. Host was great and had good suggestions for dining. Awesome to be able to plug in 50amp and water! We had a 32’ motorhome and it was easy to park. It was dry, but I would be worried a bit if rained on the dirt surface might turn into slippery mud. We had electric bikes and easy to get to stores and restaurants only a mile away. A library is close and I bought some used books. Bring small bills, books were half price.

its all been said. this is a great location for yosemite, and hal is a great guy. that said, the dirt road entry is quite bumpy, and backing a longer camper into the final spot can be intimidating. id recommend campers less than 30’ unless you really know what you’re doing. site could use some cleanup as well.
