We have a 55 acre piece of land in the countryside South and West of the city of Kewaunee in Kewaunee County WI. We are about 3.5 miles from the shores of Lake Michigan. Being about 24 miles to Lambeau Field in Green Bay those Packer fans have the opportunity to camp at our place and visit Lambeau Field or take in a game. We are also only 20 miles to the southern part of Door County. About 1/3 of our land is wooded and alongside these wooded areas are quite secluded sites for campers of all sizes. We have a home somewhat near the middle of the property and live here full-time. We have identified five campsites that are easily accessible on our property. We have a tight drive into our property, but we ourselves have a camper that we pull in and out of the property. There are three wineries in the county, two of which are within 5 miles of our home. The third winery is in Algoma about 16 miles away. Lake Michigan fishing is extraordinary and many charter boats are based in the Kewaunee Port which is 6 miles from our property. Wisconsin is well known for their cheese, and we have a huge cheese plant (Agropur) about four miles from our place and they not only sell what they produce, but they also have a tremendous variety of cheese there. And, 1 mile to the south of that plant is a meat market that makes the best wieners in the state! They make all kinds of sausages and the best beef jerky around. IMPORTANT NOTE ON DOGS! Pit Bull and/or Pit Bull mixed dogs are not welcome.

Location

We have five campsites, four are in wide spaces alongside of the wooded areas easy to get into (no backing) and easy to get out of. Two of the five have both fire rings and picnic tables (don't bring firewood, we have plenty free for you). Four of the five will take any kind of camper in size. Site # 1 would not handle anything larger than a 30 foot RV. One site would only be accessible for popup type of campers. Road through the woods is gravel, main road is asphalt.

I am a retired travel industry executive, my wife works in a Pharmacy. We live in Kewaunee WI in the country. We are both well traveled both domestically and internationally. We have only been RVing for about 3 years now, our rig has some solar power, so we try to stay away from the crowded campgrounds when possible. We like to explore local areas and there is always something new to see.

Had a great night rest. The host talked me through where to park and gave great directions. There was a bit of uneven ground, but was able to get to the camp area whithout issues.

Ron was a gracious inspiring host. He answered our phone calls and guided us in when our GPS did not get us all the way there. The site was quiet and picturesque. There was a picnic table, fire ring and rack of wood for us. Ron's recommendations for cheese and meat stores were perfect. He even took us on a guided bike ride through the county roads nearby. Will definitely rebook here if we are back in the area.

We have traveled over 13,000 miles in a few short months and stayed at several HH/BW and would definitely list this spot in our top 3. Very peaceful setting and Ron was so nice. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay and was very helpful with directions. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

We have stayed at a lot of BW's and Heuer's Hollow is now definitely in our top 3. The hosts are wonderful and bent over backwards to ensure we had a perfect stay. Their property is amazing! We feel privileged to have stayed there. Our site was huge and secluded and included a fire ring, firewood and a picnic table. There are no hookups here but who cares!! The breeze comes in from Lake Michigan and you won't find a prettier place to be. Kewaunee is a great little town and Door County is an easy drive. Heuer's Hollow is about 3 miles from Lake Michigan. We would definitely stay here again! Any size rig can fit here with plenty of turn around room. It was hard to leave such a perfect BW property and to say goodbye to such gracious hosts.
