We have a level spot right along Hwy. 25 where you can park your RV overnight. There are no hookups and it's nothing fancy, but it's an overnight option if you're just passing through. IMPORTANT NOTE: This parking site is NOT located at our profile address of Brothers Avenue. The empty site itself does not have an address assigned to it. It is located right in town on Hwy. 25 adjacent to Specialty Wood Products, Inc. For GPS purposes, the entrance to the site is across the street from 30880 Hwy. 25, Wilsonville, AL 35186.

My husband, Jim, and I are from Wilsonville, AL. We volunteer with Wilsonville Fire Department and Southeast Shelby County Rescue. Jim is the Assistant Fire Chief and an EMT, and I am a Paramedic. We have been RVing for 15+ years and have been all around the country with our cat and 2 dogs. We also enjoy working on our farm, raising horses and cows, Jeeping, kayaking, and hiking.

Finding this location was difficult, but we called Jim and he was sweet enough to come and escort us to the property. Once evening came, the main street was quiet and we had a peaceful and relaxing sleep.

We just came off a 6 month RV trip and just needed a place to stop for the night. This was a nice stop sleep and get on our way the next day. The only issue we had was the we came from in at night and the reference address to park across from appeared to be on the mailbox and we therefore assumed the driveway to pull into was just a bit before the house. At the end of the day, it all appeared to be part of the same property. Might recommend advising folks staying here to pull in near the guardrail entrance as I believe this is the one we were supposed to pull into. As others have stated, watching the wildlife was fun in the morning.

We stayed one night at Highland Acres. it is right in town off the 25. there is a little road noise but not bad. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the animal antics of the farm behind them.

Entertained by the cows, burrows and llamas. Right on AL-25. Vehicle noise during night was minimal.

The guardrail at the entrance caused us some concern, but using both lanes to make the turn worked fine Plenty of grassy room to swing around without backing. Lots of road noise, but that doesn't bother us Set up facing the farm and enjoyed the animal antics all evening.
