We are in a subdivision. You will park right next to our Motorhome on the driveway next to our house. We have 30 amp hookup ($5/night if you plug in to power) and we can fill your water tank but would prefer not hooking up to water. This space is great for a Class B or C with minimal or no slides since you will be right next to our motorhome. This truly is a safe and legal parking spot with power and wi-fi available. We are very near Ellsworth Air Force Base so you can enjoy the B-1s (soon to be B-21s) taking off day and night. We are very near 2 exits on Interstate 90. Suggested Local Attractions:The Air and Space Museum, 45 mins from Mt. Rushmore, 15 mins to downtown Rapid City

Location
Access Road Conditions: Our home is right off the interstate in a quiet subdivision. We are an ideal location to stop over as you are headed east or west on I-90 very near the Black Hills. Ellsworth Air Force Base is right next to us so you may be greeted by the sound of freedom (B-1s) at odd hours of the day. We are also less than 10 minutes from Rapid City Regional Airport. Our driveway is relatively steep but we do back up our 32 feet long Class C motorhome up the driveway with no issues. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: You can park in front of your RV on the cement, it is at an incline. You must unhook from your motorhome prior to entering the neighborhood.

Technology traveling family Details: We are a couple with 5 kids (4 still at home) My husband (Travis) works for a tech company and I (Chandelle) owns a coding center for kids and is a Massage therapist. We started traveling with our kids in a motorhome in 2014 and fell in love with that way of life. The kids only have 3 states left to get to before hitting all 50. We are home alot since I opened my business but travel as much as possible. Home Town: We live in Box Elder, SD which is the town Ellsworth Air Force Base is at and a suburb of Rapid City. We are about 30 mins away from Mt. Rushmore. Favorite Boondocking Locations: All along the Alaskan Highway! The most remote with best views ever. Skills or Expertise to Share: Travis is very tech savvy and Chandelle likes helping and encouraging new moms in their breastfeeding journey as well as is a Massage therapist.

This was my first BW experience & couldn't have had nicer people to stay with. They were very accommodating & I hope to stay w/ them the next time I'm in town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Home of the B1s. Kind of sad we never saw (or heard) a B1. But what a wonderful family this is! And the location is great, near to Custer SP and Badlands NP.
