Our location is acreage down behind our home. It is pasture, surrounded with a parameter of evergreens, peekaboo view of the Olympic mountains, and Puget Sound. There are other homes; also on acreage, and a couple houses are visible, but the space is private. There is a fire pit, and plenty of space for well-behaved dogs to run and play (not fully fenced). Suggested Local Attractions:We are 10 miles from downtown Olympia, 1/2 mile from a saltwater marina where boats can be rented. We are one and a half hour drive from Mt Rainier, one and a half hour drive to the Pacific coast and the Olympic Penninsula. Seattle is 60 miles away (time driving there vastly changes...). Columbia Gorge is 2 hours away

Location
Access Road Conditions: **caveat to "pull through" is the weather conditions, as this is the Pacific North West, and it can get soggy in the mowed grass field. Rural paved road, 50mph then 35mph 1/2 mile from our place. The driveway to the barns is packed gravel, graded. It slopes at 8% grade for 75 feet then nearly levels at the base, where one can chose to park if not feasible to drive into the field. The length of rig should be considered, related to the grade from the gravel driveway into the field, regarding tail-swing, as it down-slopes (approx by 6 feet). We have many friends stay here, towing Airstreams without 4X4, and class A's and C's up to 45 feet with no problems. Cornering from road to drive is easy for us in our class A under 30 feet. There are no low branches. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: This is a small non-working farm. There is an open field that can accommodate the rig and tow vehicle. Most can pull all the way around/park anywhere in the field (next to trees/shade, or not) without unhooking. There is a driveway that gently slopes downward, and once to the bottom, rig can be leveled there if preferred by owner, or if we deem it too wet (winter) to use the acreage.

We are grateful, fellow-planet-loving enthusiasts! Details: We are both PNW natives, have been married decades, and stayed around here to raise our family in this rare region, that boasts a vast array of stunning natural beauty within a couple of hours' drive of one another. We are close to leaving our professional lives in healthcare, to pursuit of adventure, community service, and plain old fun. We enjoy backpacking, cycling, cross country skiing, and water sports. We recently turned our experiment with RV'ing (in our renovated Georgie Boy--which was very good to us) to a smaller rig. We've so far traveled 25,000+ miles part time, and plan to become long-termers. Home Town: Olympia Washington Skills or Expertise to Share: We know the area very well, and can provide information about outdoor adventures. We love good food, wine, beer, etc and have experience with the local fare We know navigation dynamics of the healthcare community here Retired nurse practitioner

We did not meet the owners as they were out of town but they communicated with all the info and answers we needed. The lady who stays there came out and said hello. Their home and property is beautiful. we had no real trouble coming into the site but leaving b/c we are so low ended up backing off the land onto the asphalt drive. looking back we should have stayed on it. If anyone needs to put car on after driving up to the road . there is a Marina just down the road and they let us do that at thelr storage /repair yard. It was so great being near town but in the country. Thanks so very much for allowing us to stay there. Doug & Linda

Jeri was very nice to welcome me and my fur baby, Jasper. She even invited me to the patio where she, her husband, neighbor have been chatting about boat. So I brought Jasper with me. It was beautiful place they have been living over 26 years or so. Where I parked my camper Van, I could see Pacific Ocean from Peninsula.

The hosts were one of a kind! Although we are fairly new with towing our 5th wheel around the hosts still helped us maneuver off the street and into an area on the property, the access for us was quite tough because we are first timers and our 5th wheel was longer than expected which made the access in tough but with the hosts help we managed to make our way in. They offer access into a spectacular barn that we loved and they allowed our pets to run wild in their property as well as allowing our child to pick veggies from their garden! Would definitely stay again and highly recommended!

We are so bummed. Dan and Jeri were great from rhe moment we requested a booking until we attempted to enter their property. Dan and Jeri have an awesome property right out on the point. A tree lined road takes you back to their property which is quiet and serene. Lots of room to maneuver a large rig like our (44' 5er/F450 62' total) once you are on the property. As stated there is an 8 percent grade and coming off the road it was too steep for or rig. Our hitch/cap is 6" off the bed of our truck and as we entered the property our tailgate touched our front cap. We backed up and built a 4" ramp out of leveling blocks but it was still too steep and we touched again. Again Dan and Jeri were super communicative and we were willing to try but sadly unable to transition from the road to the drive. If you get a chance book it as they have a great property and were awesome to work with.
