We are only a few miles from the Cove State Park and Lake Billie Chinook. Smith Rock State Park is about 10 miles south. Central Oregon has many sights and activities to enjoy. We enjoy warm but seldom hot summers, and cool nights. Biking, hiking, fishing, boating opportunities abound. Day trips for exploring local sights and scenery available. Ask us about it! We have one primary parking spot with 50amp power on cement pad. We have several options for a second RV, but can't provide other than a 15amp extension cord power for a second guest. The second site would be on gravel, but level and not difficult to access. We have water available for tank fill-up but no water hookups. The second site would work well for someone needing a quiet, safe overnight or short stay with minimal amenities. If our main space is booked, but you need a place to stay- email and ask us about availability, even last minute. We will accommodate you if possible. Suggested Local Attractions: Cove Palisades State Park, Smith Rock State Park, Lake Billie Chinook for boating, water skiing and fishing. Easy day trips to Painted Hills, Shaniko ghost town, and Deschutes River recreation. There is a convenient dump station about 1 1/2 miles from our location. It is in the small town of Culver- behind the Fire Station.

Retired physician/farmer. Have had many RVs of all types for 30+ years. Born, raised, and currently living in Central Oregon near family farm I grew up on. Enjoy boondocking, tinkering in my shop, fishing, biking, and meeting people. We are a Boondockers Welcome host and have enjoyed our interactions with fellow RVers.

This was our first Boondock experience. They were so communicative and friendly. I have paid way more money to stay in a worse spot. I would definitely choose them again.

john, karen (and zeke the-rescue-dog!) couldn't be more welcoming! they were very responsive and helpful (with instructions, directions and much more) they have a poured concrete flat slab on their family farm that even has an electrical hookup! i don't have a 50amp-20amp power cable adapter, and john immediatly got me one of his so i could hook up! there's even a fire pit (and circle) for guests! the views at nearly 360-degrees include the spectacular Mt. Jefferson, three sisters, Hood... nice place to stay, with excellent hosts 👍🏻👍🏻
