JD was very accommodating and generous for his guests. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. There is a train that goes right by (literally 100ft from the stay area) but JD is upfront about it in his listing. We didn't mind it as we are used to it from our local area. Thank you JD!

Great stop, easy in and easy out with 50/30A power. Site was level on gravel. John met us and was very informative and we had fun swapping stories. There are trains nearby and they are loud, just as advertised so if that will bother you, opt out. We ran our a/c and slept fine. We walked into town and had a great meal at Club D’Est which will show as Uptown Cafe on your map (bar side of a more formal restaurant - two entrances at same address). Probably the best meal in the last 6 weeks of travels out west. Got home too late to need WiFi for TV so I’m sorry I can’t comment about ATT or Verizon coverage. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever passing through. Thanks again John!

John met us on arrival, made sure we were set up with what ee needed. Great conversation, very comfortable stay. Train goes by, but hey, thats part of the ambience...thanks for the great hospitality John.

Had a great stop. JD is a wonderful host and will stop again if we pass through. Still easy in and out. Hookups are great. Thank you once again.

Easy to get in and out. Electric was great since it got down to 9 degrees that night. Trains go right past. But I sleep through a lot. Not an issue for me. I will stop here again. JD was a great host. Meet us upon arrival and helped get us situated.
