We are in East Texas just outside Athens, TX. We are less than 5 minutes from the NRVTA (National RV Training Academy). Quiet country setting on our 6 acre property. We are close to the East Texas Arboretum, the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, Purtis Creek State Park, & several wonderful wineries.

This was a easy access off 175 and far enough off the road, to not hear any highway noise. Beautiful little circle of 5 spots with FULL HOOK UPS! The hosts were super nice and super helpful. Would highly recommend Scarlet Acres if you are in the area!

The location is convenient to Athens and the National RV Training Academy. We were the only RV on site, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The host communicated great. There is a great little concrete pad with solar lights that is a great place to sit your chair and enjoy the quiet. Our only issue is that the parking is extremely un level, it took several attempts to get level and then one corner was extremely high.

we loved having full hookups. it was difficult to get level, infact we couldn’t. It’s a very quiet area. It worked for is to explore this area of Texas for a couple days. Sadly it’s on the matket so not sure it will remain a Boondockers Welcome site.

The Hosts did an amazing job communicating with me and the location was exactly where I wanted to be. The sites had great gravel on them and were easy to get in and out of. It was a bit tricky to level my Class C but I was able to get it level enough for my 2 night stay. It would be much easier for a travel trailer or 5th wheel. The peace and quiet and beauty and location more than made up for it. I would definately stay here again in the future.

nice area, quiet hosts were very helpful with some questions we had about the solar and batteries in our RV. Would stay here again.
