Age:

65+

Roy and I just retired. We have a motorhome and are planning trips. We have lived in the lower Catskill mountains of New York for the past 40 years. We both grew up on Long Island and love camping. We have camped with a pull behind trailer, a tent and most recently a pop up with our 3 children. They are now grown. We have 21+ acres in Sullivan County near the site of the original Woodstock festival and we are 8 miles from the Delaware river. Fishing, Kayaking and tubing are so much fun as well as watching the Bald Eagles. We are looking forward to this new chapter in our lives.

I have never felt more comfortable at a host location. Communication was fabulous, Location was supurb. Water and elctric was provided, we just filled our tank to what we needed as we did not want to have their hose across their driveway! Everything just was in sync. Kathy and Roy offered suggestions on local places to visit with our dog, which we took, and truly enjoyed. I really cannot say enough. We will return when in the area! We arrived as strangers, and left as friends.

I absolutely love it there! We come back every year. It is right down the road from the amazing Jeff bake shop and Michelangelo’s pizza. Kathy and Roy are so welcoming. We love the counrty backroads to get there. They are in the middle of nowhere yet close to everything. My type of stay. Thank you both so much.

Cool spot out in the country. Roy and Kathy were very helpful with everything. Fire pit with electric as well. Nice part of the state. Hope to return

Very nice folk who greeted me & helped hook up. My am coffee included a family of deer around the van. Very steep hills in this area with no cell reception but that just made it more of an adventure! Would definitely stay here again. Felt very welcome & safe.

Little Ireland was wonderful. Kathy and Ray are very friendly, and they went out of their way to be helpful. Callicoon is a lovely area, and the nearby Woodstock Museum is a fun take in. The town of Callicoon, on the Delaware River, is charming with several good restaurants and a brewery.
