We have 2 small fur babies , Izzy a peekapoo and Yahzi a poodle mix that will travel with us when possible.

We love this location in the apple orchard and close to the town of Cortez. We also appreciate that the hosts are very generous. Thanks for having us again this year.

great location just outside of town. the Loves a mile away is new and has dump, laundry, water and rv/truck lanes. at the property you park in their orchard of 100 year of apple tress and it is so tranquil. hosts were very responsive and made great suggestions for local hikes and places to see. hope to see them again!

Kay and Mac are the perfect Boondocker Welcome host. I was negligent in contacting Kay with our estimated time of arrival prior to the day of arrival and she made the extra effort to take time and show us where to park our trailer. Thank you for being so kind and understanding Kay. Both Mac and Kay came to our campsite that evening and introduced themselves and gave us a jar of crabapple jelly. They’re such a sweet couple and we can’t thank them enough for such a wonderful experience.

We were able to see Four Corners Monument and explore Mesa Verde National Park in the same day as they are close to both. Beautiful views in all directions.
