We are in a wooded area, off a dirt road .. There is minimal traffic and virtually no road noise. The site is directly adjacent to our home.We cannot allow campfires, but propane grilling is fine.We have access to plenty of opportunities to walk your pets, and yourselves. We are approx 7 miles from gas, diesel, groceries, and take out.We are approx 40 miles from Acadia National Park. We are 15 miles from the largest lobster port in the USA.This is a peaceful, quiet location to run day trips to several great spots.. We will not tolerate loud music or drinking to excess, common sense and courtesy is the law of the land here.

Its hard to know where to begin! Scott first of all tolerated all my questions and paranoia about getting to their place, staying there, and various other things! he was patient and kind with me always! Scott met is when we got there and was more than accommodating with our huge rig! during the whold stay both Scott and Ed were amazing to us! Their property is gorgeous and very quiet. more than 5 stars for them!

We are reluctant to give too many kudos here on these hosts or the location, else their calendar gets booked out. Communication prior to arriving were great and we were greeted with welcoming smiles. Their location is easy to back into, very flat, close to hookups and so very quiet. We had some really great conversations, and we couldn’t get enough of their pups, they are pure love. They have a wonderful home and it is so convenient for exploring the quaint little villages by the sea. The weather was not on our side for those stunning vistas, but it did not deter us from exploring Deer Isle, Stoneington, Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. They are all beautiful, no matter the weather. We are so grateful to Scott and Edward for being hosts, for their kindness, and for sharing their little piece of heaven. We hope to request another stay in the future. No truer words, “we came as strangers and left as friends,” and look forward to seeing them again!

What incredible hosts AND host location. We loved the seclusion of the woods. It was so quiet during the day and the night. Scott greeted us when we arrived and quickly gave us the lay of the land. He made us feel very welcome. Communication was great. This is a great location to establish a home base as you venture out to explore Maine's stunning coastline and the quaint villages along the coast. We played hard during the day looking around, and we slept like babies at night under the heavy cloak of darkness that enveloped us as soon as the sun set. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! Excellent communication and Scott was waiting at the mailbox to guide us in to the spot. The location is quiet and peaceful out in the countryside. We had a lovely walk in the morning to the blueberry patch with Ed, and interesting conversations with both of them, sharing travel experiences. This is more than just a place to stop, they extend a very gracious welcome to you!
