We are located at the end of a bay on a stocked, private lake, if you have an IL fishing license you are welcome to fish from our yard or off our dock. Because we are at the end, we do not care to swim in our bay but you are welcome to use our kayaks, canoe, or paddle boat, just ask. The stars at night are amazing as it is pitch black but we are on a county road so you will hear cars going by, not often but enough to not call it totally quiet. We have 1 1/2 acres so plenty of room to roam but all pets must be on a leash. Please make sure to watch your children around the water. We do live in a private community but since we are on a township road, you do not have to drive through to get to us. Suggested Local Attractions: There is a little general store and gas station within walking distance. We have a couple of breweries and wineries, Timber Lake Playhouse, and hiking at Mississippi Palisades Park, all approx 30 minutes away. Our community also has a golf course and restaurant that is open to the public. Walmart, Menards and the town of Freeport are 25 minutes away.

We request that you pick up after your pets and please do not toss cigarette butts on the ground. Please respect the late hours, no loud music after 10 pm.
Location
Access Road Conditions: You will have to turn your rig around to leave but plenty of room for a 25 ft, even a little larger. The turn into the driveway is a little tight and a tad bit steep at the very beginning before you level off. We have no problem at all with our 25 ft, our friends have a 40ft and they have also managed. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Can park tow vehicle would be parked next to your rig either in the driveway or on the grass

Nelson and Toni were amazing hosts and I appreciated their hospitality. They have an amazing spot on the lake and definitely recommend it… we saw an osprey catching a fish and the water was crystal clear… definitely will take them up on the offer to take a ride out on their boat next time i pass through, weather permitting. (^_^

The hosts are incredibly kind and they made us feel at home. They took us on a boat ride to enjoy the sunset and we went kayaking in the morning! We loved meeting them and staying in their piece of paradise 🥰 Thank you!!!

Marvelous lakeside community. Nelson n Toni gave me a sunset boat ride with the tales of their community's development. This is a community who are taking care of the natural resource the lake. Keeping it healthy. This was one of those times I'm glad I have a small unit so I could park under a shade tree and enjoy the lake view. Thanks.

We received a warm welcome and felt quite at home, having been offered use of their canoes, we had a lovely paddle and swim in the lake and had a most enjoyable overnight in this piece of paradise.
