Age:

45-55

Retired Freedom Seekers with a calm Lab/Beagle pet and a passion for travel, wine, friends and music. Details: My wife Susie and I (Matthew) travel in our RV in the winter months and throughout the summer. We have both left our professional careers at 50 and enjoy a simplistic way of living. It allows us to travel, enjoy wonderful new experiences and gain the friendships of great people along the way. I am pretty handy at building things, and Susie has a keen eye for style and design so together, we bring a great balance to our efforts. Home Town: Waterford, Digby County, Nova Scotia Favorite Boondocking Locations: New to us, we are excited to explore, learn from and share our experiences with others . The maiden voyage in our RV was 5000 miles from Phoenix, AZ to Windsor, N.S. It was too fast, but enough for us to know that there are a lot of places we want to experience. Skills or Expertise to Share: Matthew is handy at fixing most things from carpentry to mechanical Susie has a great eye for design style, and loves to cook. We both have excellent computer skills and have been told that we are excellent at research when it comes to travel whether in the RV or otherwise (we find things)

Absolutely the best host and location. Became friends years ago and treated us like family. Enjoyed visiting and exploring their area. Highly Recommended

We spent a relaxing 18 hours at Matthew and Susie’s site. They offered us a quiet parking spot in their woods after kindly waiting for our delayed arrival. We really enjoyed chatting over morning coffee in their intriguing home overlooking a cove off the Bay of Fundy.

Best hosts ever. Wonderful setting. I had stayed with them 4 years ago and had great memories. So I had to go back again. Same kind, gracious hosts. Same good dog and now a beautiful cat to add to,the mix. They would make great neighbors.

This place truly is a little oasis along St Marys Bay. The hosts have created a beautiful offgrid paradise with access to a beautiful quiet beach. Despite its seclusion it is still very close to many great lookouts and hikes along the Digby Arm and islands. The spot provided was a nice flat gravel spot, far from any traffic noises. Matthew was extremely accommodating despite having his entire family down visiting, and even managed to mantain communication throughout the Rogers outage. Getting down the driveway may be a bit intimidating but with Matthews guidance you will make it no problem :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Land & Sea and our visit with the terrific hosts, Suzie and Matthew. Personal touch from the moment of our arrival with the greeting at the top of the long driveway and expert guidance by Matthew as we backed down the driveway to the splendidly private parking site. A little further down the hill brought us to their spectacular view of St Marys Bay. A glass (or 2) of wine later we were chatting like old friends. Our hosts gave us great suggestions for the areas scenic stops and seafood. With thanks, we highly recommend these hosts.
