We live within the Historic District of Liberty, Missouri. The parking site is on a gravel driveway behind our house. The driveway goes all the way through the property with an additional entrance/exit at the back of the property. Water and electric(15A) are located close to the parking space. We have two very large trees in the backyard that do provide some shade... depending on where you park. It's an easy walk through the historic district to explore the historic Liberty Square or on over the William Jewell College. We also have good highway access to explore all the other attractions around Kansas City.

Location

The front driveway/gate entrance is relatively narrow at just under 9.5' wide, but it does provide a straight shot through the property. However, the back entrance is much wider with a double-wide gate. So, if you are too wide to make it through the front gate, and don't mind backing up, then width shouldn't be a problem. (we show a single parking spot, but can squeeze two smaller rigs with no problem. So, you might contact us even if it shows we are booked)

My wife and I are both Missouri natives and started RVing in 2021. We really enjoy exploring the US in our Class B, but realized we have a tendency to gravitate toward Colorado and other mountainous states. So in late 2023, we sold the van and purchased a Jeep that allows us to do a bit more back county exploring/overlanding. We have two kids, but they are grown... so we just travel with our dog.

I drove across Kansas in high winds and was over the top pleased to land here. My hosts had engagements and we were not able to meet, but were so accommodating and communication was fabulous. It was my last night on the road before heading on home to Minnesota. I am hoping if they get up to the Twin Cities they can stay at my host location.

Liberty Carriage is a beautiful heritage home in a beautiful neighborhood. We were greeted by our host upon arrival and were guided into the back yard, which was spacious and very tidy. A nice stroll through an interesting neighborhood takes you to Historic Liberty with beautiful architecture, quaint shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

This spot was perfect for us and our class B van. Hosts made us feel at home and like old friends immediately upon arrival. Space was flat, easy in and out and quiet. Would love to return to continue our chat. Thank you for having us!

Just FYI better for drivables than travel trailers due to locations unless you are an experienced, which my husband isn't yet. Hosts were beyond accommodating. First Jay met us and helped us get set up, then that night we gave out of propane and he helped JC by letting us use his tank good thing temperature was to get down to 18 degrees burrrr. We would love to return if ever in area but not sure with all our neediness they may becide this hosting is not for them lol. Thank you so much for ALL your help and understanding.

Wonderful place to stay. The entryway is a little tight, but you can squeeze through if you drive carefully. Google Maps can't make heads or tails of the streets, so navigate carefully. We had level gravel to park on and a bunch of stores nearby. The house is stunning and reminds me of the old Victorians along the West Coast. Friendly host and we chatted about camping and cars and our various travels.
