Larry and Karen Bio have lived on Vancouver Island almost ten years and really started enjoying RV'ing after taking retirement. We have a large Shasta Camper on a Chevy Diesel pickup and this summer added a boat loader (remote control ! ) to the roof of the camper. We have had long amazing trips to the Yukon in 2020 and Alberta in 2021. We live on five acres between Courtenay and Campbell River, with 2 horses a cat and Karen's mom. Karen still picks up shifts as a lab tech at the local hospitals and Larry still does automotive work at home. Otherwise doing music for churches and other events fill up the rest of our time. And the garden! Last year we sold over $2000 in jam alone!

They met us when we arrived and showed us where to park. Invited to their house next morning for coffee. We enjoyed a couple hours of talking with them. We went to church with them Sunday morning. We talked with them several times when they came out to feed the horses. Even bought their home made jam before we left. We also will definitely go back for another stay.

We had an completely relaxing stay with Larry & Karen. At our camping spot we were able to enjoy watching the horses in their corell... We had a great time talking, having coffee and learning just how much work (to us) it is running a farm... Very hard working people! We also bought and enjoyed some great home made jam.... A great stay...we'll definitely request another stay in the future!
