We are located a short distance south of Saskatoon on a large acreage/hobby farm. We usually have fresh farm eggs for sale. There is a dump station nearby which charges a fee. Not far from us is a shopping centre with a variety of stores and restaurants including Walmart, Sobeys, Home Depot, Dollarama, etc. Also in the area are Co-op, Petrocan and Esso gas stations as well as Costco. Several attractions are located a short distance from our location. Suggested Local Attractions:Lots to see and do in Saskatoon. It's a beautiful city with a river park running through it with lots of walking and bike trails. There are a variety of art galleries, museums and there is even a kids park with a small ferris wheel and train. Saskatoon has more than 40 annual summer events including art and music festivals. We are 20 minutes from one provincial park and a hour away from another, both with nice lakes. Prince Albert National Park is about a 2.5 hour drive. Let us know your interests and we'd be happy to give you advice on what to see and do. Note: For July and August the calendar is set to only accept bookings up to 7 days in advance. We like to get away during the summer but it's often a last minute decision when commitments allow and thus can't accept bookings more than a week in advance.

Location
Access Road Conditions: There is pavement to our yard, then a short packed gravel road to where you will park. The parking areas are either on grass or gravel. If you have a larger rig you may need to disconnect your tow vehicle and do some careful backing up to get turned around to park for the night. Leaving the yard you can then drive straight out. Each fall we have semi trucks pulling trailers loaded with bales coming into and leaving our yard with no issues so any size motorhome should not be an issue. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We live on an acreage with a large yard. Lots of room to park. Electrical hook up: We have both 30 amp (1) and 15 amp (1) electrical hook ups. The stated $5 donation (cash please) is based on an 8 hour usage which barely covers the cost of running a single RV air conditioner for that time period. If you are using it for a longer time period please adjust your donation accordingly. Plugging in your electric vehicle is not permitted.

Semi-retired couple We are Legendary Hosts with Boondockers Welcome (2023) Details: We live on a large acreage/hobby farm just outside the city limits operating a small horse boarding facility. There are also several chickens we keep for fresh eggs. As our family was growing up over the years we have travelled with a couple of class C's and a class A. Now we travel with a class B. Home Town: We live just outside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on an acreage. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love exploring Arizona and southern California in the winter and the mid-west States, Western Canada and our own province in the summer. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have a handyman skill set including woodworking, minor electrical, plumbing and mechanical type of repairs. I worked many years in computer consulting and then in administration. My wife is a small animal veterinarian who works part-time (sorry, she doesn't work for free and only works in a clinic).

Greg & Joanne were excellent hosts! Greg provided us with a list of local amenities, and we bought fresh eggs from Joanne. They also provided us with power for a small fee and wifi. They were very friendly and generous. This made for a great place to stay very close to Saskatoon.

we had a lovely evening at Maplewood Farm. Our hosts were gracious and helpful to a couple of new RV boondockers. They have a beautiful farm and made us feel welcome! Very much appreciated!
