Quiet Neighborhood in a small town. Parking is on a mostly level grassy area shaded by many trees. Restaurants, gas stations, free dump station, parks, trails, bowling alley, 3 golf courses & shopping all close by. Within an hour of Des Moines area, Cedar Rapids & the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. Just over 30 minutes to Ames.

Since we do have neighbors, please no generators after 9 pm.
Location
Can either back in from street or pull straight in and back out when leaving. Our driveway is at the top of the hill on our street, but the RV parking spot is at the bottom of the hill on our property. It would be easier to not drive up the hill as the cul de sac is a little tight. Plenty of parking in spot for tow vehicle.

We are from Marshalltown, Iowa. We have 4 kids, ages 10-5. We got our first camper in 2021 and enjoyed a 2 month trip to the South West part of the country, visiting family, friends, the beach and many national parks. In 2022, we took another 2 month adventure to the North East part of the country. In the fall of 2023, we will be doing the same thing, but heading to the South East part of the country. Looking forward to many more family adventures with our camper!

These hosts are so gracious!! Their normal boondocker camper parking spot is in the grass. However, when we were driving through (late January) there was snow in that spot. So they made room for us in their driveway!! Very kind. They also shared some delicious, healthy, yummy chocolate muffins. Yum!! They greeted us and ensured we had everything we needed. Once we were settled, we took a nice walk in their beautiful, safe, quiet neighborhood. We'll definitely try and stay here again.
