Our property is in Sterling, Alaska. Sterling is located on the Kenai Peninsula; home of the famous Kenai River. Our business, McDonald Fishing, provides Guided Fishing for salmon & trout on the Kenai & Kasilof Rivers. Our property is 6.5 acres of thick woods. We have a camp site for Boondockers and a fire pit to enjoy in the evenings.

We’re located off of a well maintained city gravel road. Our driveway is circular for easy turnarounds. Towing and/or towed vehicles can be parked near the campsite.

We're from Sterling, AK. We own and operate McDonald Fishing, Guided Fishing on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. We currently own a 23’ OutdoorsRV camper trailer. For the past 20 years we have been RV camping in Alaska, but we hope to RV around the US through the winter in a year or two. We’ll travel with our dog, Makana, with us. We love to meet new people, learn about their culture and explore new areas.

Very nice, secluded and level parking spaces. Great communications from the hosts and easy to find. As a bonus, Bob had space for me to hire him on a fishing charter the day we were there. Had a wonderful evening around the campfire, eating grilled, fresh caught salmon and talking about our trip and other things. Would definitely stay again!

We had a awesome visit with Trish and Bob! Bob has put tons of work into making the campsites really nice, level and mud free. They are wonderful hosts and if you're looking to get some fishing in, they are the perfect fit since Bob is a fishing guide. They both are a wealth of knowledge for the entire area no matter what you are looking to do. Dood had a great time with Makana their 3 year old labski, she was a great host for our 3 year old Sheepadoodle. We would definitely stay with them again!

A great place in the forest to stay. Great helpsame and enthusiastic hosts. Beautiful parking lots to choose from beautifully landscaped in the forest. It was great to share stories with each other by the campfire. We enjoyed the visit and still enjoy all the goodies . Beautiful and good memories. ------ Een geweldige plek in het bos om te verblijven. Geweldige hulpsame en enthousiaste hosts. Prachtige parkeerplaatsen om uit te kiezen schitterend aangelegd in het bos. Het was geweldig om met elkaar verhalen te delen bij het kampvuur. We hebben genoten van het bezoek en genieten nog steeds van al het lekkers . Mooie en goede herinneringen. Groeten Rob en Nelleke uit Nederland.
