The Village of Forget is an Arts community in S.E. Saskatchewan which boasts under 50 residents, a lovely restaurant and music venue, a micro farm with fresh eggs and random animals, and many musicians per capita (over 50%). We are home to a heritage Catholic Church, commemorative monuments, a historic "meditative tree walk' as well as a small park with 1/2 court Basketball. Located 40 minutes from the scenic Moose Mountain provincial park, we are surrounded by farmland and this friendly little village extents traditional prairie welcomes to strangers. Dog friendly and people friendly, visitors often find themselves at a campfire singing along to favourite songs, or taking in the beautiful panoramic stars.

We are pretty easy-going people. We do have a fenced pool on site, so people with small children must monitor them for continued safety.
Location
We have a fairly large property, and we also have access to community space. Dogs are welcome in our fully fenced yard off-leash as long as they are friendly and managed competently. If people cannot back out of the space, alternative community spaces with "pull throughs can be organized by hosts.

I love to adventure with my beautiful dog, Freya. (There is a cute picture of her with her favourite toy Lamb in the photo gallery!) We started off camping in our Outback and travels around Western Canada, and loved overnighting in random places, hiking and enjoying all the beauty we discovered. So I bought a retro 24 foot motor home, and we plan to continue in slightly more comfort! I’m a musician, a writer, an artist and a philosopher who loves to read and explore interesting ideas.
