Rural area with ample parking on a grassy lawn and beautiful forest views. 15 minute walk to the beach with lots of fossils and geological wonders. *IMPORTANT* Check the tide charts before you go walking on the beach. 5 minute drive to Walton Pub & Walton Lighthouse. 15 minutes drive to Kempt Quarry swimming hole and Kempt Campground with dump station. No electric or water hook up, but water tanks can usually be filled by hose if you drive up to the house. You will have to walk up close to the house to access wifi. Cellular service can be spotty. Strong wind comes in with the tide twice a day, so it may not be suitable for tent pop ups. If it's been raining hard it's possible the grass may be too wet to drive on. Parking on the right side gravel driveway or on the "old road" in front is allowed any time. Heavier rigs can get stuck in the mud. Fire ring available for use. Best view for sunset is at the bottom of the hill towards the old road where the first fire ring is. Use the church driveway for easiest turning.

Hi! We are a family of five with two grown up kids and one halfway grown up kid :) We love cats, camping and nature. We are camping this year in a vintage travel trailer with our two Ragdoll cats. We love to travel and explore all over Canada, some of the things we like to do are swim, visit museums and go geocaching. When not exploring we are pretty quiet and enjoy relaxing and cuddling our cats, watching movies and animation, and playing Roblox. We don't need hookups but electric is appreciated if available. We have a tent awning but don't usually take it out for a 1 ir 2 night stopover. If the cats go outside, they stay in the screen tent or on a leash.

We had a fantastic three nights with lots of exploring locally. A great quiet spot to rest, walk down the way for a beachside sunset, etc.

We had a lovely & welcoming stay at Sunset Hill while traveling with family. The location is peaceful and is an easy walk to the nearby beach where you can enjoy sunset, stars and tides. Thank you again for your kind hospitality.

Don’t miss this amazing boondocking place with wonderful hosts. Level parking is easy. My view of the old church and cemetery was hauntingly delightful, but nothing compares to the view a short walk down the hill. Omgosh! Took a drink down in the evening and watched the tide come in. Returned in the morning at low tide and walked around to a sight that rivals Arches National Park except through the arch is the Bay of Fundy!! I’m so very envious of Shawn and Natasha’s place. Put this BW spot on the top of your list when visiting Nova Scotia!!
