We live on a small side road about 1000' from the main small road. Nearest neighbor is about 600'. Plenty of acreage to hike and explore including a small 'gorge'. Our property extends down hill from a line from the pole by the road along a boundary that is close to geographic North. You could park for a few hours in front of our field stone fronted garage, plug in, charge up, and then move across the road to the parking area or field for the remainder of the time. Suggested Local Attractions: Finger Lakes region of CNY; Harriet Tubman home, and NYS Heritage Center; Ithaca and it's colleges and gorges, historical Auburn - about 11 miles , quaint touristy "on the Lake" village - Skaneateles, and Moravia; Nice hilly country roads in our area.

No traffic noise actually no noise of any kind. No light pollution so the stars we’re amazing. This was our first boondock wish we had booked for two nights so we could have taken advantage of the meditation sessions that are offered here. Bring a 30 ft extension cord because they were wonderful to offer an electric hook but their cord does not reach across the street Thanks so much for wonderful sleep

Thank you! Very nice and quiet place to spend the night. We were able to safely park, visit the surrounding countryside and come back in the evening to a warm place to stay.

Don was really wonderful in helping us get there and know where to park. We came in from the west and backed in on the newer gravel section across the road from their house. We took some nice walks up and down the roads until it started raining. We were scheduled to stay a couple of nights but decided to use the 2nd rainy day to get some driving done instead. Don was very understanding. Despite the rain, we enjoyed our visit!
