We have a long, fairly wide concrete parking pad/driveway that could accommodate up to a 28' rig. Getting in and out of the driveway is the trick since we live near the end of the street (not a cul d'sac), with some jockeying required to either back in (easy getting out), or back out (possibly a little more challenging). Once you're parked though, you're in a very quiet neighborhood in the beautiful town of Edmonds, Washington. It's on Puget Sound, between Seattle and Everett, Washington. Walking to town or to the waterfront is a pleasant, easy 1+ mile walk, or public transportation is available 2 blocks away if you don't tow a car. Suggested Local Attractions:Seattle: Pike Place Market; Space Needle; Seattle Center, which includes: Science Center, (small)Chihully glass museum, Experience Music Project; Seattle Art Museum, Flight Museum, rent a kayak or electric boat and tour Lake Union Edmonds: explore a small town, take a ferry ride across Puget Sound to Kingston for lunch or dinner, beach walk, dine on the waterfront Everett: Tour the Boeing Plant

We prefer no smoking, but have no specific house rules. We haven't had any occasion to establish any because everyone so far has demonstrated basic courtesy and consideration of our home and neighborhood.
Location
Access Road Conditions: The main issue in accessing our location is the last 2 blocks. We live almost at the end of a narrow city street. Big delivery/cement/dump/garbage trucks manage to maneuver around this area, but it's sometimes a challenge. If you're concerned or have questions, please contact us and we can give you more specific information. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: In our driveway

two retired teachers who love to travel. Details: We're two friendly, curious, appreciative retirees who love to travel, meet new people, and discover the many beautiful gems of wherever we go. Home Town: Edmonds, Washington Favorite Boondocking Locations: We don't have any favorite boondocking locations - every place we've boondocked has been good or better. We have used members of this organization, Walmart parking lots, BLM land, and casinos. Our preference is to stay with fellow members, but some of the BLM sites have been very good, too. Skills or Expertise to Share: Dan is pretty handy with tools.

Our hosts made us feel right at home. Meeting some of their friends was also very special. Especially enjoyed our conversations about our experiences with hydroplanes -- he had even been to my hometown for races. Beautiful neighborhood.

Jean and Daniel are a lovely welcoming couple. They made sure I had whatever I needed. The driveway is level and I had no problems (25 ft) going in and out.

we were welcome when we arrived. The stay was as annouced: quiet, level and what was important to us: near Seattle. Our hosts provide us with plenty of information about this town, next towns and Seattle: places to go and how to get there. They offered us: water and electricity but at the time we didn’t need it. It was very nice to discuss with them. Thanks a lot!
