My beautiful bride, (of many years), & I are both retired. I retired twice, once from the Marine Corps, and once from the U.S. Postal Service. We now live in Rural America and are custodians of a very special, one of a kind, truly amazing, Wait for it..... Desert Tortoise! We hit the RV trails in our motor home as much as possible while our Tortoise is in hibernation, (which is from November to April). We are people watchers, and love to see old downtown main streets and try out local mom & pop restaurants, bar food, and small shops. My beautiful bride loves to browse antiques for hours at a time. We also enjoy the outdoor scenery Mother Nature is kind enough to provide us with. And we also enjoy time in our home on wheels, snacking on cheese & crackers and sipping cheap sweet wine. :-)

Beautiful scenery of surrounding mountains. Host very helpful had everything one would need (water-electric). Very stormy and they came out to check on us.

I was met immediately and welcomed. My hosts were fantastic people. Good conversation and very helpful. the spot was on the gravel driveway and very level. The place was pristine and well cared for. There is even a complementary fire pit with wood next to the spot. The wind was so bad during my stay that I couldn’t enjoy that. Ask about eggs. The neighbor sells them for $3 a dozen. I will definitely stop here again.

Outstanding! ...used as our Death Valley basecamp, but don't overlook Ash Meadows NWR.

Our host is an experienced and avid RVer - returned from a trip himself just before I arrived. It shows great spot and stay.
