We live on rural four acres in Paulden AZ. Quiet area, beautiful 360 degrees view and beautiful sunsets in the high plains of Yavapai County. We own the dirt runway at Pilots Rest Airstrip and have RV parking next to our "vehicle barn". We are 40 minutes north of Prescott, less than two hours drive from Sedona, Grand Canyon, Jerome, Flagstaff and Route 66 Attractions.

Pets and children are welcome as long as they are in your control. Pack it in and pack it out.
Location
Motorhomes without dingy can back in easily. Towed vehicles will require a Y-turn to reorient the rig prior to backing in but plenty of room for that. Plenty of room for parking disconnected towed vehicles or trailers. Access road is dirt/gravel in great condition but also serves as runway so vigilance for aircraft is required. Aircraft traffic is very limited, especially after 10AM.

My wife Carol and I have been happily married for 41 years and have been boondocking longer than that. We have a slide in camper we take when we are touring the backroads and a 30’ 5th wheel we take when we are plopping down in one spot for longer periods. We travel with two well behaved dogs who are excellent travelers. We fly, boat, Jeep, RV,hike, and I enjoy riding my bicycle. We have several acres at home in Arizona and are considering becoming boondocker hosts.
