Love traveling but still love my home Details: I recently retired on October 28,2016. My very first job I worked was B and M Racing Transmissions in North Hollywood,CA. Looking back I was so fortunate to have such a great job. We'd go to Bakersfield for the Smoker's Meet. My 1967 Chevelle was even used in a magazine advertisement. I really miss that car. The company started a motorhome division by the name of Sports Coach Corporation. Reluctantly I started working for Sports Coach until the gas shortage caused the company to close. How amazing I might have been influenced by those motorhomes. My next job was still related to racing ( worked for a funny car race driver) we sold domestic marble for terrazzo flooring and hydro fuel for the other race car drivers. Looking back my job career after these jobs became very average. I did work for a local school for 15 years as a teachers aide and school bus driver. Luckily driving my RV is a little easier from learning to drive school buses. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area in southern California. In 1988 I moved to Somerset where I reside currently. I'm surrounded by vinards oaks and pines I have almost 2 acres with my small home and my even smaller guest house that is currently rented to one of my friends. I like to think I started the small house movement. For a single person it's great. If I have company my RV is my extra bedroom. Home Town: Somerset is my zip code address but actually I live in Fairplay. I'm surrounded by vineyards. Most beautiful season is the fall when the grapevines are showing there beautiful colors. Fairplay Vineyards are the highest elevation between 2000 and 3000 feet in growing grapes in California. Just 14 miles from Placerville known as "Old Hangtown" during the discovery of gold. Sacramento and Lake Tahoe is about an hour away along with Yosemite is almost 4 hours away. Travel the famous Hwy 49 and discover charming little towns of the golden history of Northern California. Skills or Expertise to Share: Love to bake and discover new recipes to share with friends. Meeting new people and learning from their travels.

We had the best two night stay with Terry and enjoyed the countryside very much! It was so nice to have an enclosed area for the dogs to romp and even play with Terry’s dogs. Everyone was very nice and accomodating and the locals made our stay even more fun! Maybe some day we will find ourselves back in these parts and would gladly stay here again =)

We loved our stay here. such a beautiful, quiet spot and a lovely, welcoming host. We left with a carton of fresh eggs and a new friend. We took her advice and had breakfast at the Dead Fly Cafe in Plymoth. Great spot for breakfast and they serve adult beverages!😉
