Married couple enjoying life in the PNW and traveling here and there. Details: Don is retired and hanging out waiting for DeeEtta to retire so we can travel more. While he waits he is busy with his horses and dog. We live out in the country about 20 minutes from Bellingham WA. About 90 minutes from Seattle. About 60 minutes from Vancouver. Home Town: We live in Whatcom County where we both were born and raised. Our address is Ferndale but we live out in the country and rarely go into Ferndale. Normally we are hanging out in Bellingham or Lynden. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Too new to know. Skills or Expertise to Share: Not so sure about skills or expertise.

Don and Dee were great hosts. We enjoyed our stay so much. They are really friendly, have a sweet dog and had great ideas for exploring the area. Their property is beautiful and you sleep very calm. We would come back anytime!

What a peaceful night’s rest- next to horse pastures and fields. The hosts were kind enough to set me up with 15A and I had a signal on both Verizon and ATT. I will definitely visit here again.

Peaceful PNW doesn’t begin to describe how wonderful this Boondockers site is, nor how gracious and fun these hosts are. Their two horses, Dakota and Milo greeted us each morning with their indifferent whinnies and curious stares. We arrived with insufficient water in the tank, and they generously provided us with a couple of water filled jugs to get us by. The site is level, with plenty of space to maneuver and park your tow vehicle if necessary. They can provide a minimal 15A plug if needed (but no water). This is a site you DO NOT want to pass up. Please say hello to Don and Dee for us.

Our hosts were welcoming, genuinely kind and gracious people. And our conversations were sincere, aware and helpful. It was awesome sharing ideas and perspectives. The horses are beautiful and yes, we did see the eagle in the nest!! Thank you DonDee for having us and a safe and wonderful stay. You are great ambassadors for the State of Washington and Boondockers welcome. Kim and Dave.

This was one of our most memorable BW locations. A serene, beautiful location and thoughtful, interesting, truly special hosts. And, a surprise bonus out in the country, great cell signals on both AT&T and Vz. We hope to come back in the future. Many heartfelt thanks.
