Our street is a "No Outlet" with a small Culetesac at the end and a very SAFE location with great neighbors. You should have no problem finding us with Google or Apple maps. We are 10 min or less from Historic, Touristy, Downtown Hendersonville, NC., and a Stone's Throw from Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and so much more. There are lots of things to see and do! Suggested Local Attractions: There are way too many to mention here... but If you Google >>>. Attractions/Events/Galleries/Festivals near Hendersonville NC — you should be deluged with info about the area. In the Spring & Summer, there are lots of "Farmer" markets and roadside stands selling great produce and local fare. In the FALL -- this is Apple Country and there are several Orchards where you can visit, pick your own, etc.

House Rules

ADULTS ONLY PLEASE. Unfortunately, since this covid thing has really screwed up the entire world, we do request that ALL guests be FULLY VACCINATED. We won't be checking your papers.. but trust that you will abide by this request. We are in our 70’s & fully Vaccinated and boosted multiple times. We are comfortable being around other vaccinated persons. However; If you are NOT vaccinated we would prefer you to choose some other host. Thanks in advance for your consideration. NO SCREAMING CHILDREN or Babies... Including Grandchildren. This is a RULE, NOT a request. Pets on leash at all times, for you and your pets well being. 'Should go without saying, but do NOT leave your pet unattended in your RV, especially in these Globally-Warmed Summers! NO Yappy or Barking Dogs PLEASE! If you have a dog that won't shut up... let's just say we don't find that to be "Cute". We DO have a dog, a Rat Terrier/Mix female that is people and "other dog" friendly for the most part and seems to be neutral when it comes to Cats. So far the only animal she seems keen to chase are the Rabbits. Cigarette Smoking is a Super BIG NO - NO MATTER WHAT! VAPING & e-Cigarettes are frowned upon. Please don't do it here. Having said that.... A good quality Cigar, on the other hand, "occasionally", and especially in the evening with a vintage adult beverage, preferably a 12-year-old or older, Single Malt Scotch, is always a welcome scenario. I am a Scotch and Macanudo man myself. 👍😎 (If you chain smoke Cigars... well, that may be a little too much and you might want to seek medical help!) Religion, Politics and conversations about them are verboten! (Put that on the same level as Cigarettes) Please; keep those thoughts and opinions to yourself. Proselytism in any form will not be tolerated! FYI: Ham Radio is spoken here: WB2PSB Re: Garbage, our containers are limited. Best rule is: "If you pack it in .. pack it out." THANKS for understanding and following our house rules. We look forward to your visit and perhaps getting to know each other and hopefully, enjoying each others company.

Location

Access Road Conditions: All roads leading to and from our location are well-maintained asphalt. There are NO speed humps on the streets leading up to our street, fingers crossed we never get them!!! Most size rigs can easily access the area. But; be warned!!! If you go too far past our location...you will likely have to release the "Towed" vehicle, if you have one, to turn around in the small-ish Cul-te-sac at the end of the street. When available there is a level "pad" on the left side drive, when facing the house, that has a 50/30/120vac and water and a sewer connection suitable for dumping your tanks — If used, please clean up after yourself. This IS our HOME...not a public campground. Thanks! When our RV is home… Your rig parking area might be in the front of the property on a large gravel parking area. It does list a few degrees from the road going toward the house, so you will need leveling jacks or blocks of some sort when you set up. 30Amp AC is available there but no water or sewer. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Off Street -- Toad parking is available.

Steiph & Jenna Zargon.... We are now in our 70's - Retired and Looking forward to exploring the US and Canada! Maybe Alaska. Details: I Steiph was a commercial photographer in one of my previous lives, and am currently masquerading as a Quenticential Renaissance Man, Master Alchemist, and Most Majikal & Wonderous Wizzard. I still enjoy Photography, fine woodworking, woodturning other artistic endeavors. I am also a Ham Radio enthusiast, WB2PSB, and carry a "Shack-In-The-Box" in our RV and try to use it as much as time and wife will allow. My lovely wife, Jenna, "The BOSS" and clearly "Better Half of Me", was an Accountant in her former life and likes to read voraciously, and enjoys creating original designs in Silver Jewelry. She enjoys traveling and seeking out those things that must be seen and done along the way. We both enjoy Shopping, Museums, local Culture and Architecture, Art of all kinds and interesting "food finds". We're gonna try and hit some of those "Tripple DDD's" we've seen on TV.. or as much as our bodies can handle without too many catastrophic or deleterious effects. Home Town: When we are not traveling in our RV, a 23 ft. Winnebago Fuse, our brick & mortar HOME is Hendersonville, NC , We recently moved into a brand newly constructed home here and are looking forward to continuing being a BW Host here. Favorite Boondocking Locations: WE really enjoy the BLM in Arizona and our annual trip to Quartzite for the Quartzfest Ham Radio, week long event. Nothing quite like the desert spring in Jan & Feb... then to places North Please, til the cool weather returns. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am a MacCentric computer person & have worked as a Mac Consultant in the past. Recovery & Maintenance software and home network installs. Also extremely handy with all things woodworking, & I'm fairly handy with a mechanics wrench. I've done most of the "mods" on our RV and could advise and assist others. I have worked as an electrician, carpenter, Professional Photographer, Plumber, Wood Artist and so much more...! Growing up on "the Farm" I pretty much had to know how to do almost everything, from planting & harvesting crops, to Animal Husbandry and all things in-between. So... if you have an issue with almost anything... I might have an answer or solution... and of course, always an opinion. ;-D

We stayed at Planet Zargon to visit Asheville and the surrounding areas. Zargon was very nice and helpful when backing down his driveway. Go confidently to this spot as the drive was is very steep!

Even though weather didn’t cooperate for us we had a lovely stay at Planet Zargon. It felt like we were staying in the woods because of the beautiful forest at the back. Perfectly level pad and access to water, sewer and power was a luxury. Thank you for your hopitality, Steiph!

Planet Zargon was just what we needed after a busy couple of days. This BW was peaceful and we were able to have electric to take the chill off our van for a very fair $5 dollars. This is a definite stop again.

Everything was great about this spot! The host greeted us and gave some direction with backing down the steep driveway. We had no issues getting our 25ft tt setup. A lovely, quiet level spot with full hookups! Thank you for having us stay. A great spot to explore the area:)
