Just Pokin' Along enjoying life! Our journey began in 1976. Like many, we have experienced many challenges during our journey together and have been blessed to overcome many of them. As a result, we have grown to appreciate the beauty God has created and have a stronger appreciation for each other. With the many twists and turns we have experienced, one thing for sure is knowing life is short. We aim to explore new places and revisit areas we have grown fond of. We look forward to new adventures as we continue to explore the beauty surrounding us. Home Base: Northeastern Oklahoma

Don and his wife are lovely people. Don has gone to great lengths to provide a level parking area for boondockers as well as offering water and electricity. It’s a beautiful location amongst trees along a back country road. I’ll be going back.

I had a comfortable nights stay at Pokie Acres. The host warmly greeted us and made sure all was good. The spot is flat and has electric should you like I would stay again.

A quiet, charming location in NE Oklahoma hill country. Don is a charming, affable host. You will not regret a stopover here. We stayed two days to time weather at our destination.
